Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not do with the service.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) explains what you may and may not do when using the AuroraCloud Shop VPS hosting service. The goal is to keep the service secure, reliable and lawful for all customers. By using the service, you agree to follow this policy.
2. Lawful Use
You must use the service in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service does not violate any law in any jurisdiction where you are located or where the service is used.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the service for any of the following activities:
- Distributing, hosting or facilitating malware, viruses, worms, ransomware or other malicious software.
- Phishing, credential harvesting or any form of social engineering attack.
- Fraud, including but not limited to financial fraud, identity theft or deceptive schemes.
- Unauthorized access to computer systems, networks or data (hacking).
- Attacks against systems or networks, including denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, brute-force attacks or scanning for vulnerabilities without authorization.
- Spam, including unsolicited bulk email, SMS or messages.
- Distribution of illegal content, including content that is unlawful, infringing or harmful.
- Abuse of network resources, including excessive bandwidth consumption that degrades service for others.
- Infringement of intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark or patent infringement.
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
4. No Anonymous or Abuse-Resistant Hosting
The service is not offered as anonymous hosting, bulletproof hosting, abuse-resistant hosting, DMCA-free hosting or unrestricted hosting. We do not market or support the use of the service for unlawful or abusive purposes. Customers are responsible for using the service in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and this Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Network and Resource Use
You may not use the service to conduct activities that place an unreasonable load on the network or infrastructure, or that interfere with the service’s operation for other customers. This includes running crypto-mining operations that consume excessive resources, or any activity designed to disrupt the service.
6. Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you host on your VPS. We do not monitor the content of individual VPS instances, but we reserve the right to investigate and take action if we become aware of unlawful or abusive content.
7. Reporting and Enforcement
If we become aware that a customer is violating this policy, we may take appropriate action. This may include issuing a warning, suspending access to the service, or terminating the service. In cases of serious or repeated violations, we may terminate the service without prior notice.
8. Cooperation with Authorities
We may cooperate with law enforcement and other authorities when required by law. This may include providing information in response to valid legal requests. We do not provide “no logs” or “no questions asked” guarantees.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate this policy. In the event of termination, any refund eligibility is subject to the Refund Policy. We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to protect the service and its users.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
